HULLO. Yes, yes, I’ve not been posting. Mea culpa.
Between a major unanticipated job focus change following the expected new role for my paycheque job (them: “yo, you’ll be handling project “A” full time!” me: “wicked awesome!” them: “nevermind, we realize project “B” isn’t being handled properly, you do it” me: “but… this needs a 25-person core team… and that’s half of what out US sister company is putting into the project” them: “we believe in you! Here’s a BlackBerry. Oh, and we’ll need you to go ahead and… work 75% longer hours and most weekends…”). Thankfully it’s very interesting work and I’m enjoying it. So yeah, between that, the freelance work ($$!), organizing the national Taekwon-Do championship this year and trying to have some fun, I’ve to prioritise.
So I’ve been toying with the camera and decided to make use of the tripod I also recently acquired.
Today went to the Royal Ontario Museum as an impulsive move to get myself out of the apartment for a few hours. Here are some of the snaps I took.
Yes, yes, I’ve largely disappeared. But I swear I’m still here. Somewhere.
Yes, yes, I’m still alive. Today, I bring you another recipe. This is one from my childhood, something that’s easily my biggest comfort food.
Simply writing a note to let people know I’m still indeed alive.
Recent developments include being moved at work into a newly created role in its engineering development field… which has consumed my days, evenings and part of my weekends.
Few things ruminating in that mind of mine, new posts soon.
