So this year’s motorcycle trip was shorter (4,000kms rather than last year’s 5,500kms).
I went to stay with family in Drummondville. After a day’s rest went up to the Mauricie National Park. Love that place, went briefly last year, took more time this year.
After another day’s rest, took a meandering tour of the Gaspé peninsula. It’s like Cape Breton, but smaller and flatter. To get there, took the 20 to Mont-Joli and veered south, through the Matapédia valley.
Once in the Gaspé region, enjoyed the sights and roads. I was on a bit of a schedule so didn’t stop much, and the pictures I took were quick snapshots. Looking at some I cringe at the framing and really should have taken the extra thirty seconds… however what’s done is done (self-deprecating me). Pics with the tag were taken with the camera, pics without were taken with the phone.
And that’s that. Will be getting back into more frequent posts, things have just been exceedingly busy – more on that soon once the website for a new project is up and running.
