Music List (I)

June 28

Random post time!

I’ve been working a little more than normal (I’ve put in about 30 hours of “overtime” since last Thursday; quotation marks because I won’t see it in $, but perhaps in lieu) and the one thing that’s been keeping me going, other than faint fantasies of taking over the world and ruling it with an iron fist, has been music.

Here are songs that I never cease to enjoy and reassure me that things’ll be all right:

  • The Sun Smell Too Loud – Mogwai
  • Left and Leaving – The Weakerthans
  • Beautiful Burnout – Underworld
  • Ring Road – Underworld
  • Neighbourhood #1 (Tunnels) – Arcade Fire
  • On Melancholy Hill  – Gorillaz
  • Rhinestone Eyes – Gorillaz
  • Missed the Boat – Modest Mouse
  • How to Disappear Completely – Radiohead
  • Bulletproof – Radiohead
  • Five Years – David Bowie and Arcade Fire
  • Measures and Scales – Jill Barber
  • Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven – Albert King
  • Born to Kill – Matthew Good
  • White Hot (acoustic version) – Tom Cochrane
  • Life on Mars – David Bowie
  • Escape is at Hand for the Travelling Man – The Tragically Hip
  • My Favourite Chords – The Weakerthans
  • Giraffe Junkie – Keston Cobblers’ Club
  • Rolling in the Deep – Adele
  • Champions of Nothing – Matthew Good

I’ll prolly append this later, yo.
